Education
I am a senior at Oklahoma Christian University, majoring in medical laboratory science (MLS). I currently have a 3.86 GPA. I will be graduating in the spring of 2018 and then take a national certification exam to be a certified medical lab technologist. My ultimate goal is to go to dental school.
Experience
Ever since my sophomore year in college, I have had the opportunity to work as a tutor with the student success center at Oklahoma Christian University. I tutor fellow students in subjects such as general chemistry, general biology, and college physics. Throughout my high school and college education, I always enjoyed sharing my knowledge in sciences. I therefore believe that being a tutor would be a great way to help students that are struggling in any given subjects that I am good at. I have taken several college science classes such as general chemistry 1&2, general biology 1&2, college physics 1&2, human anatomy, human physiology, genetics, biochemistry 1, immunology, principles of microbiology, biostatistics, medical terminology, and many others. Having excelled in these classes, I am in a better position to share the knowledge that I gained by tutoring.
