Education
University of Tulsa - Bachelor of Arts in Education in 2005. I was a double major in Education and American History with an emphasis on the post-civil war era. GPA: 3.14 overall and 4.0 in major field. President's honor roll member in Fall of 2004. Member of Student Oklahoma Educators Association. I am also certified in math through the state of Oklahoma as of 2011.
Experience
I have eight years of classroom experience with social studies and math. I have taught from 5th grade to high school aged students. I have helped my students achieve a very high rate of passing on state standardized testing. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to assist those who have the desire to learn but need extra guidance. There are no stupid questions and the only shame in education is for someone to not try.
