I am a sophomore at Oklahoma Christian University majoring in nursing with a cumulative 3.6 GPA.
Experience
I have been using tutoring skills almost all through high school, and I have officially been tutoring in the Edmond area since February 2014. I took a rigorous course load through high school and graduated in 2013 with a 3.8 GPA. My current college coursework has been challenging as well; so far I've taken 50+ hours of math and sciences. I have worked with children that attend private and public schools, and also homeschooled. I have experience with grades 4-12th in subject areas like math, science, and even ACT prep. I have really enjoyed spending time with them as I help them with their understanding of a subject and their study habits. I love helping them succeed in a class and build their confidence. Yes I help them by explaining topics to them, but it's themselves that put in the work and effort to be successful. I am qualified to be a tutor because I enjoy what I do and am experienced at it. I don't just care about the subject that I'm tutoring, but I care about my students and their well-being too. I tutor year-round, including the summer in case your child needs review on past material or for their next class. The summer is also a great time to start preparing for the ACT standardized test.

I love to read, my favorite author is John Green. I golfed in high school. I am involved in my college church group. I like to watch a lot of movies and piddle around on Pinterest too. I have a lot of fun crafting and organizing things around my home. I really love the beach and the lake! I am also a nanny for a family, which involves many responsibilities for taking care of their son and his grandmother.
